They are easily installed by drilling an 11/32” hole approximately 7/8” down from the top and 1” from the bend on the short front beveled section of the board, or they can be installed on the flag. These lights work well on both Off Shore and Church planer boards, and in fact I use the same template to drill the mounting holes on both boards. NiteBiteLites are sold in pairs with one red and one green submersible LED light. Batteries are included and should last up to forty hours.
